Can Physical Vascular Therapy be used with pacemakers or defibrillators?

1 min leestijd

The electromagnetic fields used during BEMER therapy are not capable of interfering with pacemakers or defibrillators if these devices comply with European standards and are used according to their respective operating conditions.

Active medical implants that cause stimulation (e.g., pacemakers, defibrillators, brain stimulators, muscle stimulators) are considered a relative contraindication. The complementary use of BEMER therapy must be discussed with the treating physician.
