What are the contraindications?

The following absolute contraindications must be considered:

– Immunosuppressive therapy after a transplant
– Immunosuppressive therapy after allogeneic stem cell transplantation, bone marrow, or stem cell transplantation. For other diseases that often require immunosuppression, such as autoimmune diseases or dermatological conditions, there is no contraindication for BEMER therapy.
– Active medical implants that cause stimulation (e.g., pacemaker, defibrillator, brain stimulator, muscle stimulator) are a relative contraindication. The adjuvant use of BEMER therapy must be discussed with the treating physician.

In the risk assessment, your physician must evaluate, based on the individually set threshold values of the implant and considering the distance between the applicator coil and the implant electrodes, whether BEMER therapy, with a maximum flux density of 150 µT (average flux density for full-body treatment is 21 µT), could cause interference. If, according to the physician’s assessment, interference cannot be ruled out and safety cannot be fully guaranteed, the use of the BEMER therapy system must not continue.

– All active medical implants designed to administer medications (medication pumps) are an absolute contraindication and exclude the use of BEMER therapy.
